In 1959, Aljabr Trading Company saw promising opportunities in the automotive field, leading to the opening of the first car showroom in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
(Al-Amir for Cars) in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia. In 1966, Nissan merged with Al-Amir for Cars, which allowed Aljabr Automotive to access a larger range of vehicles until 2008, when the company was granted the distribution rights for Kia Motors. Kia Motors is one of the most renowned car manufacturers, offering innovative and dynamic vehicles in the world of transportation. Aljabr Automotive, the main company of the group, holds a leading position in the Saudi car market.
In 2022, Aljabr Automotive acquired the distribution rights for two of the most promising Chinese car brands globally, namely JMC as a commercial arm and Lynk & Co in the luxury car sector.
