In 1972, Toyota Tsusho Corporation began exporting Hino trucks to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, partnering with Juffali Vehicles & Equipment Co. "JVE" as the local distributor for Hino. The newly established company combines the well-known and trusted brand among Juffali's customers with Toyota Tsusho's expertise in after-sales services developed through its global automotive operations.
After all these years, Juffali Automotive Company has faced significant challenges and substantial expansion, setting new aspirations and great ambition, especially as Saudi Arabia undergoes a major transformation by adopting Vision 2030 as an economic and social reform strategy to reduce reliance on oil production and diversify industry. Amid this reform, domestic demand for trucks continues to expand, with Saudi Arabia currently holding 50% of the commercial vehicle market in the Middle East. In the future, the expansion in truck demand is expected to persist due to their role in the logistical infrastructure supporting the new industry resulting from industrial diversification and increased investment in construction.
