It all started with a dream. When Mrs. Jehan Nasr was a young, idealistic teacher working in Abu Dhabi, she was not satisfied with the school systems she saw. She began dreaming of establishing a school with a different character. To become one of the best schools in Abu Dhabi.
Mrs. Nasr was convinced that true education should create more than just academic success; it should build individuals with strong character who have an impact on the world and design their lives with integrity and joy.
We are one of the only private international schools in Abu Dhabi managed by its dedicated foundation to this day. Thanks to her strong conviction, the students of the American International School today are distinctly different in their approach to learning and tend to be more stable, engaged, and confident than students from other systems.
