In 1980, Service Equipment Company was established to meet the needs of the growing market, driven by the automotive sector's boom in the Kingdom.
The idea of founding Saudi Equipment Company (SEC) came two years after the Al Babtain Group acquired General Motors. As an agent for General Motors, the Group had to create a modern and advanced maintenance center, which was superior to others in the field at that time.
After witnessing the success of the Group's service center and the modern technologies used, Saudi Equipment Company, as a market leader, seized this golden opportunity for growth and took the lead.
Two years later, Saudi Equipment Company flourished and expanded further, introducing fuel dispensers, in addition to garage equipment and other service toolsarman.
