About the company
The Authority aims to contribute to achieving spending efficiency in government entities, enhancing the quality of projects, assets, and facilities, infrastructure planning, and the programs, initiatives, and operational processes funded by the state's public budget, and monitoring the implementation of these entities' own programs and initiatives in a way that fulfills the Authority's objectives.
The Government Expenditure and Projects Efficiency Authority was established by the Council of Ministers' decision issued on February 23, 2021, corresponding to Rajab 11, 1442 AH, under Resolution No. (389), which mandated the integration of the National Program for Supporting Project Management, Operation, and Maintenance in Public Entities (Projects) into the Center for Achieving Expenditure Efficiency, and transforming the Center into the Government Expenditure and Projects Efficiency Authority.
