Ras Al Khaimah Real Estate is a public joint stock company established in 2005 with the support of the Ras Al Khaimah government.
The company was founded in line with the vision of His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, and aims to support and promote economic growth in Ras Al Khaimah, in addition to assisting community development initiatives in the emirate. Ras Al Khaimah Real Estate will also work to maximize shareholder value through its development projects in the coastal and inland areas of Ras Al Khaimah.
The capital of Ras Al Khaimah Real Estate is 2 billion UAE dirhams; the company's founders, including the Ras Al Khaimah government, own 45 percent of the capital, while the public holds the remaining 55 percent. The initial public offering of Ras Al Khaimah Real Estate in early 2005 was oversubscribed by approximately 57 times.
