About the company
Knowledge Economic City (KEC) is a public joint-stock company listed on the Saudi Financial Market (Tadawul) (4310), established for the purpose of developing and managing the master plan of the Knowledge Economic City. The company was officially founded in August 2010 following a successful initial public offering earlier that year. The Knowledge Economic City is located in a strategic site in Medina, the home of Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, and where the Quran was compiled. Medina is visited by millions of Muslims from around the world during the Hajj season as well as the Umrah season.
