About the company
The Qatar Financial Centre Regulatory Authority constitutes the independent regulatory body of the Centre, established with the aim of licensing and regulating individuals and companies that engage in financial services in or from the Qatar Financial Centre. The Regulatory Authority was established under Law No. (7) of 2005 issuing the Qatar Financial Centre Law.
The Regulatory Authority operates according to a regulatory approach based on transparency, proactivity, and accountability, and these principles are reflected in our work on policy development, granting licenses, exercising supervision, and taking enforcement actions. It also operates in accordance with the highest regulatory standards and best international practices, striving to promote financial culture and protect customers and investors.
