Qatar Ports Management Company is responsible for managing the ports and maritime transport stations in the State of Qatar, and in addition, the integrated port services and logistics provider in Qatar plays another pivotal role. Through its role in developing Hamad Port, Qatar Ports is not only in a strong position to develop a regional shipping hub in the Gulf but also extends its role to be a key player in diversifying the Qatari economy for the post-hydrocarbon sector.
In addition to managing docks, dry ports, and container terminals, Qatar Ports provides marine pilotage, towing, and ship mooring services, as well as navigational aid management, along with loading, unloading, handling, and storage of goods operations. It also participates in the development of maritime ports and related services according to international standards.
