About the company

The tradition of Al Hussan education began in Saudi Arabia in 1956 when Sheikh Abdulaziz Rashid Al Hussan founded the Arab Cultural Institute for Adult Education. The following year, Al Hussan Modern School for Girls was opened, the first girls' school in the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia. Today, there are nineteen schools and other educational institutions throughout the Eastern Province, ranked among the best in Saudi Arabia, with over 10,000 students enrolled.

His son, Rashid Abdulaziz Al Hussan, now heads the Al Hussan Group of Companies, continuing his father's vision of "Education for All." Al Hussan International Schools are the latest addition to the organization and, despite their youth, have grown steadily.

Eastern Province

Our first international school, Al Hussan International School Khobar (AHISK), is located in the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia and opened in September 1998. It features separate boys' and girls' sections on the same campus; however, the kindergarten, situated at a separate location, is in the same area. A year later, Jubail International School (JIS) was established in Jubail Industrial City. This was our second international school, which also includes separate boys' and girls' sections. In June 2006, Orbit International School (OIS), the third international school, joined the group with separate boys' and girls' sections. In the Eastern Province, Al Hussan International Global School (AHIGS) became part of the group on August 23, 2015.
