First Steps Nursery for Childcare opened its doors in Dubai in 1994, aiming to meet the educational needs of children residing in the Umm Suqeim area and its surrounding neighborhoods. Since its establishment, the nursery has proven itself as a prestigious and trustworthy educational institution, helping young learners thrive, develop, and unleash their talents and abilities.
FSNM follows the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) curriculum, linking it with the Montessori method for motor skills. The educational principles and philosophies outlined by Maria Montessori continue to support the methods used in FIRST STEPS Nursery to produce independent individuals. EYFS embodies these principles to support teachers and their assistants as well as the child's relationship with the world. It fosters a sense of curiosity while aiding learning, then gives the child room to work, explore, observe, and create.
