World Stage Design

The World Stage Design (WSD) exhibition is the first and only exhibition dedicated to designers, which highlights and celebrates their artistic works. The exhibition is held every four years and has visited five cities: Toronto, Seoul, Cardiff, Taipei, and Calgary. The sixth WSD exhibition will be held in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates, from Saturday, October 18 to Saturday, October 25, 2025. The production of the 2025 World Stage Design exhibition is a collaboration between the Sharjah Performing Arts Academy and the International Organization of Scenographers, Theatre Architects and Technicians (OISTAT).

We carry the heritage of our country with great pride. We embrace its stories, delight in its wonders, and honor its history. At the 2025 World Stage Design exhibition at the Sharjah Performing Arts Academy (SPAA), we will explore the heritage of the future while celebrating our past. The heritage of tomorrow is the exploration of today. We are creating this heritage with our neighbors from cities and countries as part of a global community.
