Sharjah International Book Fair

Join us at the 11th Sharjah International Library Conference, held on November 9th and 10th in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates. The two-day Sharjah International Library Conference includes:

• Two full days of presentations and discussions with an international roster of expert speakers.
• Networking and utilizing the exhibits at the Librarians' Lounge Library.
• Poster sessions (submission deadline September 20th)
• Meeting exhibitors showcasing their books and services specially selected for the library community.

The Sharjah International Library Conference will once again be held concurrently with the Sharjah International Book Fair, celebrating its 43rd year as one of the most important collection development opportunities worldwide.

Conference and pre-conference registration will be available on July 1st. All sessions will be in both English and Arabic (via simultaneous interpretation).

Concurrent programs on topics for all library types (public, academic, school, and special libraries) covering current trends and technologies, innovative spaces and services, rebranding and proving library value, staff development and leadership, promoting a love of reading, and more.
